March 26 meeting is 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
Program:  Carol Mull has a PowerPoint presentation “The Underground Rail Road in Michigan.”
Location:Plymouth Congregational Church, 2001 E. Grand River Ave., Lansing.

April 23 meeting is 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
Location:Plymouth Congregational Church, 2001 E. Grand River Ave., Lansing.
Program: Dr. Lawrence Leefer from MSU on LUMBERING IN MICHIGAN

May 28  — 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
Location: Plymouth Congregational Church, 2001 E. Grand River Ave., Lansing.
Program:  Mapping our ancestors’ lives with topographic maps by Dr. Morris Thomas from MSU

June 25 — 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
Location: Plymouth Congregational Church, 2001 E. Grand River Ave., Lansing.
Program:Maps on Fire by Ken Howe  and  Election of officers
About insurance and other large scale urban maps.

No meeting in July or August

September 24 — 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
Elizabeth A. Homer, author of PIONEERS, REFORMERS, & MILLIONAIRES will have her book there for sale, $25.00 (tax included)
the families of the Turner-Dodge mansion.

October 22 — 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

November 19 — The next gathering of the Mid-Michigan Genealogical Society will be held at the State Archives, 702 W Kalamazoo St, Lansing, on Saturday, Nov. 22 at 10 am. It will be about Scanning at the State Archives and new material acquired by the Archives including the Detroit News Collection (see http://www.detroitnews.com/story/life/2014/10/20/detroit-news-archives-caitlin-library-archives-michigan-historic-photos-detroit-michigan/17638401/ ). It is free and open to the public.

No meeting in December or January.
